In the December 2004 issue of the Journal, in the Case Report by Jacob et al.  entitled “Transient Profound Neurologic Deficit Associated with Thoracic Epidural Analgesia in an Elderly Patient” (Anesthesiology 2004; 101:1470–1), the first sentence of the “Case Report” section currently reads:
A 91 yr-old, 152-cm, 52-kg female was scheduled to undergo elective thoracotomy for repair of a symptomatic type III paraesophageal hiatal hernia using the Belsey Mark intravenous procedure.
This sentence should read:
A 91-yr-old, 152-cm, 52-kg female was scheduled to undergo elective thoracotomy for repair of a symptomatic type III paraesophageal hiatal hernia using the Belsey Mark IV procedure.
