We thank Drs. Mahajan and Gupta for their comment. Our data were based on a neuroanatomy text written by the head of the anatomy department of the Medical University of Vienna. 1
However, we wish to stress that the main purpose of our case report is to discuss the clinical value of a longer period of cerebrospinal fluid drainage. The details of normal cerebrospinal fluid physiology are beyond the scope of our article.
